Have you ever spent a holiday in the loveliest skiing area in the Alps - Lech am Arlberg?
The Arlberg is not a mountain, but an alpine pass that joins the Austrian provinces of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. Winter sport enthusiasts require only one ski pass for the entire region. This Arlberg Card is the admission to a snow paradise with over 80 mountain railways and lifts, 276km of downhill runs and 180km of deep-snow runs. Heated lift seats make a winter day a luxurious experience.
One of the best skiing areas in the world is in Austria - on the Arlberg, at altitudes between 1,300 and 2,811 metres. Thus the Ski Resort Service International experts decided in their assessment, and for the fifth time in succession, that Arlberg counts among the best skiing resorts around the world.
The skiing winter this season lasts from 1 December 2007 to 22 April 2008.
Gratis ski buses run in and between the communities, sunny terraces invite one to après-ski.
